Monster-of-the-Week: …this week let’s give the nod to the
big not-so friendly giant…
…from the 1970 shocker Equinox.
Though that movie, an expansion of a 1967 student film by future multi-Oscar-winning
special effects master Dennis Muren, is full of spectacular stop motion
effects, this big fellow (Jim Duron) was generated through low-tech forced perspective.
By the way, wouldn’t “The FG” be less redundant?
